Wound Care
Wound Evaluation
Comprehensive wound evaluation is the cornerstone of effective healing. Our team takes the time to carefully assess your wound’s size, depth, and condition, as well as factors like circulation and overall health that may impact recovery. Using detailed, objective data, we identify the root cause and tailor a treatment plan to meet your unique needs. This thorough approach ensures every step we take is focused on helping your wound heal as quickly and safely as possible.
Wound Cleaning and Dressing
Proper wound cleaning and dressing are essential for supporting healing and preventing complications. We use advanced techniques to debride wounds, such as the XSONX Cordless system with micro-vibrational technology that stimulates microbleeding of the wound bed to jump-start healing.
Our team selects the most effective dressings based on your wound's specific needs, ensuring it stays protected and has the best environment to heal. By providing expert care and guidance, we help you achieve better outcomes while making the process as comfortable as possible.
Bio-engineered skin grafts
We use a variety of bio-engineered skin grafts that promote rapid healing in an outpatient setting.
Therapies
Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy
We provide referrals for hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBOT), a treatment that promotes wound healing. Call us or ask about HBOT at your next appointment.
Negative Pressure Wound Therapy
We use negative pressure wound therapy to augment chronic wound healing.
Platelet Rich Plasma
PRP ( Platelet Rich Plasma) is a therapy produced from the patient's own blood that is made up of plasma and a high concentration of platelets. It is injected into the injured area, thereby introducing a high concentration of platelets (as well as growth factors and cytokines) to the injury site, helping it heal.
